MIAMI, FLORIDA — ELEHEAR, the AI hearing technology company, today announced the launch of ElePro Plus, a live tele-audiology service that gives users one-on-one access to licensed professionals remotely, on their own schedule, through the ELEHEAR app.
The service became available August 17 and builds on the company’s existing ElePro Basic remote fitting service. ElePro Plus is initially available for ELEHEAR’s Beyond Series devices, with plans to expand support to additional products in the future.
Remote Fitting and Audiology Support
ElePro Plus provides a standard 45-minute live video appointment that can include a remote hearing assessment, personalized device adjustments using ELEHEAR’s fitting formulas, and follow-up support.
Users can purchase an appointment through ELEHEAR’s website and either upload a recent audiogram, complete a hearing test through the app, or undergo a hearing test during the session. During the video appointment, an audiologist reviews the user’s hearing profile and can fine-tune the hearing devices remotely in real time.
The company positions the service as a way to add professional support to the self-directed model that has characterized much of the OTC hearing aid market.

According to research cited by ELEHEAR through the National Library of Medicine, 72% of OTC users sought a professional hearing evaluation, while 56% received fitting support.
ELEHEAR audiologist Linda Carr-Kraft, CCC-A, said the remote model also provides an opportunity to adjust devices while users are in the environments where they regularly listen.

Initial Availability in Nine States
ElePro Plus is launching initially in Florida, Texas, California, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, and West Virginia.
ELEHEAR says it plans to expand the service into additional states as regulatory frameworks allow, including through the Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC). According to the company, the compact has been enacted in 36 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
ELEHEAR says the ElePro Plus platform is HIPAA compliant, with sessions, records, and user data handled within compliant infrastructure.
The service is available on a per-session basis rather than through a subscription. Regular pricing is $99 for a 45-minute session, with an introductory price of $89 per session available from August 17–23.
ElePro Plus is currently available exclusively to ELEHEAR device owners and initially supports the company’s Beyond Series.
