EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA — Starkey today announced that its latest advancements on the Omega AI platform are now available to Government Services, expanding access to innovations designed to support communication, performance, and patient outcomes.
The latest enhancements include the introduction of Auracast™ Assistant, Push to Talk, Google Fast Pair, and the new StarLink Edge LE Adapter. Together, these additions are intended to expand connectivity, improve accessibility, and enhance ease of use for both hearing professionals and patients.
Auracast Assistant enables users to discover and connect to Auracast broadcast audio in public and shared environments, supporting accessibility in settings relevant to government and military populations. Google Fast Pair allows users to connect their hearing aids to compatible Android devices with a single tap, simplifying setup. Push to Talk introduces a voice messaging feature within the My Starkey app, enabling communication between users in both everyday and operational environments.

Built on Starkey’s latest platform, Omega AI combines intelligent performance with durability, features that are particularly relevant for government applications. The devices include enhanced waterproofing and reinforced construction, designed to support consistent performance across a range of environments, from daily use to more demanding conditions.
Omega AI also incorporates Starkey’s Deep Neural Network (DNN) technology, which is designed to improve speech understanding in complex listening environments. This may support situational awareness and communication effectiveness for users in challenging acoustic settings.
To support hearing professionals working with government populations, Starkey has also introduced an updated RIC fitting and tool kit. The system is intended to streamline the fitting process, enabling more efficient workflows and allowing providers to focus more on patient care.
