TAMPA, FLORIDA — HearUSA announced that the new Signia Pure C&G MaX hearing aids are now available at its hearing centers nationwide, adding Signia’s latest AI-powered hearing technology to the company’s portfolio.
Built on the new Signia Multi-adaptive Xperience (MaX) platform, Pure C&G MaX is designed to address challenging listening situations, particularly dynamic group conversations involving multiple speakers and background noise. The platform incorporates four task-specific Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) through Signia Acoustic Intelligence™.
“Hearing technology is advancing rapidly, particularly in how AI can help people navigate the complex listening environments they encounter every day,” said Oliver Asmar, President at HearUSA.
“HearUSA is committed to ensuring that our patients have access to the industry’s most innovative and advanced hearing aid solutions as they reach the market. Signia Pure C&G MaX brings the latest evolution in AI-powered hearing to HearUSA centers nationwide, helping patients stay engaged in the conversations and moments that matter most.”
At the center of the MaX platform is Acoustic Intelligence, which analyzes several dimensions of the acoustic environment simultaneously, including speech, noise, environmental conditions, and the wearer’s own voice.
The system uses four DNNs — Speech Detection, Own Voice Detection, Scene Analysis, and Noise Processing — each trained for a different aspect of sound processing while operating together as a coordinated system.
According to Signia, this multi-dimensional approach allows the hearing aids to adapt to changing listening environments in real time, with the four networks supporting features intended to enhance conversations, identify the wearer’s voice, analyze the surrounding acoustic scene, and manage noise.
In Signia testing, the company reported that 97% of participants performed better with Signia MaX in noisy group conversations compared with key competing devices.1
The Pure C&G MaX is a receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid offered in eight color options. It includes a portable charger capable of storing up to four full charges. A complete charge takes approximately four hours, while a 30-minute charge can provide up to six hours of use, according to the company.

The hearing aid also incorporates Signia OneConnect Technology, supporting Bluetooth® Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, Telecoil, and Auracast™ connectivity.
“Technology continues to create exciting new possibilities for better hearing, but the technology itself is only part of the equation,” added Asmar. “By pairing innovations like Signia Pure C&G MaX with the expertise of HearUSA hearing care professionals, we can help patients identify the solution that best fits their individual hearing needs, lifestyle, and listening environments – and get the personalized support needed to make the most of it.”
The addition of Pure C&G MaX expands the range of hearing technology available through HearUSA. The company operates more than 380 hearing centers and works with a network of more than 4,000 hearing care professionals. HearUSA offers hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and ongoing support, along with a 60-day risk-free trial period.
