STRUER, DENMARK — Sound Hub Denmark has once again been ranked among Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs by the Financial Times, marking the third consecutive year the organisation has received the recognition.
The 2026 ranking includes 180 hubs across Europe, the largest field to date, based on more than 7,100 recommendations from founders and experts. Sound Hub Denmark is ranked No. 113 on this year’s list and, according to the organisation, is the only Danish hub to have been recognised in every edition since the ranking’s inception.
Sound Hub Denmark reported a score of 76.2 in 2026 (2024: 76.0 | 2025: 76.7), indicating continued performance across the past three editions.
The value of specialized acceleration
Sound Hub Denmark’s acceleration programme includes eight participants each year and focuses on domain-specific support that combines business development with technical expertise, facilities, industry networks, and sector-focused mentoring. The organisation said this approach is designed to reduce both risk and time from concept to market readiness.

Denmark is represented by five hubs in the 2026 ranking, with Sound Hub Denmark ranking third nationally and maintaining consistent inclusion across all editions.

The annual ranking, compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, evaluates incubators and accelerators across Europe. The assessment combines alumni recommendations, evaluations of mentoring, infrastructure and business support, startup track records, and expert input. More than 7,100 founders who participated in programmes between 2019 and 2024 across 39 countries were surveyed.
