MINNEAPOLIS–Starkey Laboratories, the largest U.S.-based hearing aid manufacturer, has been named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its AMP™ hearing aid. This is the fourth consecutive year Starkey has been so honored, having previously won for SoundLens™, S Series™ with Sweep™ Technology, and Zon™. The CES is the pre-eminent trade association promoting growth in the consumer technology industry.

Designed for people who not want to be seen wearing a hearing aid, AMP is invisible in most ears. Its programming method makes fitting so efficient that patients can walk out the door wearing an AMP in a single visit.

The 2012 International CES, which is sponsored and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association, will be held January 10-13 in Las Vegas.
