John Sparacio Named President of Oticon Medical US

SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon Medical US announced that it has named John Sparacio as President. In his new role, Sparacio will be responsible for leading the organization and advancing the company’s position in bone anchored hearing systems and cochlear implant solutions in the US market. He will report directly to Mikael Worning, President of William Demant Holding in the US.

Sparacio is said to be joining Oticon Medical with over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining the company, he served as Vice President of US Sales at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, Trauma and Extremities, where he led a team of over 200  direct employees and more than 500 independent agents and helped redesigned the organization to accelerate growth and market share.

Sparacio holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater and has completed executive education programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Matrix Achievement Group.
