Oticon, Inc. Appoints Roger Peterson as New Vice President of Sales

SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY – Oticon, Inc. has announced the appointment of Roger Peterson as Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Peterson will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving improvements and implementing best practices to deliver quality support and services to Oticon’s professional partners.  

Peterson joins Oticon with more than 32 years of highly diverse multi-discipline, multi-functional business experience, primarily in the healthcare and beauty industries.

In 24 years with Johnson & Johnson, he held a number of leadership positions in consumer sales & marketing, pharmaceutical sales leadership and category management. At OraPhama, Johnson & Johnson’s only specialty pharmaceutical & device company, he served as National Sales Director/Commercial Lead. Peterson was Vice President of Sales at Coty Beauty, focused on mass brands, including Sally Hansen, NYColor, Rimmel and Cover Girl, and leadership fragrance properties.

Most recently, Peterson served as Vice President of Domestic and International Sales in the nutrition industry for FoodState, Inc.  There, he had direct oversight of both the domestic and international businesses in five channels – Natural Retail, E-Retail, Food/Drug/Mass, Healthcare Provider, and International – along with oversight of the Field Sales organization. 

Peterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace University.  He will be based in Oticon’s US headquarters in Somerset, NJ and will report to Oticon President Gary Rosenblum.
