Hundreds of hearing professionals traveled to Orlando, Florida in 2019 to attend the inaugural Empower Conference to “learn, engage and stay current in the business of providing the best hearing care”. The event, held at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort, was hosted by Your Hearing Network (YHN).
A total of 97 individual learning sessions were available to attendees that participated during the event, amounting to 120 hours of instruction. A wide variety of topics were offered, ranging from practical strategies to grow your practice, to implementing patient-centered care and telehealth, to a number of industry-specific “hot topics” like OTC regulations.

Empower 2021 Conference
Empower 2021 will again offer hearing care professionals a wide range of CEU qualified learning opportunities to choose from including breakout sessions across Clinical, Technology, and Business Development tracks. The program structure allows each professional to determine the right mix of content that suits their unique needs.
YHN’s Program Committee is looking for submissions that will offer inspiring information delivered as a learning session during the conference.
Submissions should focus on one of these three content areas:
- Clinical/research information
- Device and technology information
- Business development information
Empower sessions cannot be used by presenters to promote, take orders for, or sell products or materials.
Selections will be awarded based on content quality, subject matter, timeliness, substance, popular demand, program balance and attendee interest. All submissions should be tailored to professionals in an independent practice, contain innovative and meaningful information, and include engaging interactive presentation techniques designed to engage the adult learner.
