What Do You Do Everyday Daddy?

Hearing Health & Technology Matters

One of my favorite stories from a mentor of mine, Dr. Earl Harford, started with an innocent question from his daughter.  “Daddy, what do you do all day?”  He said he thought about all of the hearing exams, hearing aid fittings, follow ups, and he just could not find a nice concise way of telling his young daughter what he did.  (Boy can I relate with this, my boys glaze over in about 30 seconds)  So he came up with the shortest, best thing he could, “I solve problems”.  That really hit the nail on the head for me and many others he has told this story to.

No matter who comes into our offices, they have a question or problem they need help solving.  Others have told us this in different ways as well {{1}}[[1]] (http://www.openforum.com/idea-hub/topics/money/article/101-tips-from-50-small-business-bloggers-1).[[1]]  I found this from Andy Wibbels in an American Express open forum blog, “Show your passion for helping your customers solve problems – and talk to them like you talk to your friends. A real, enthusiastic, human voice is every small business’s edge” AndyWibbels.com

We just have to go out and do our best everyday and help people solve problems and answer questions!
