November 23, 2018

SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon Inc. celebrated the success of its 11th annual “Hear in Pink” campaign with a $10,000 donation to the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC). During September and October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Oticon donated a portion of the sales of all Oticon Opn hearing aids, including special edition pink Opn, to the NBCC to support the group’s mission to know how to end breast cancer by January 2020.

At Oticon’s headquarters in New Jersey, company president, Gary Rosenblum, recently joined with Oticon employees to present the donation to NBCC representative Donna Duncan.  The donation, which will help fund life-saving research, represents proceeds from the annual “Hear in Pink” hearing health and breast cancer-awareness campaign.

“In 11 years, the Oticon has donated more than $120,000 to non-profit breast cancer organizations. This is a cause that resonates powerfully with hearing care practitioners and their clients. We greatly appreciate the support of our hearing care partners who join with us each year to educate and empower people in their communities to take charge of their hearing health and at the same time, to support research to find a cure.”

–Sheena Oliver, AuD, VP of Marketing at Oticon

In a show of support for the annual awareness-building campaign, a team of Oticon employees joined in the American Cancer Society “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk in Piscataway, New Jersey.
