HOUSTON, TEXAS — HearUSA has opened two new Hearing Centers in Tomball and Atascocita, Texas. As part of their ongoing initiative to roll out Hearing Centers of the Future across the United States, these new facilities provide support for the approximately 48 million Americans facing hearing loss.
At the Tomball and Atascocita centers, clients can explore a range of prescription hearing aids from brands such as Widex and Signia, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) solutions by Sony. Visitors can benefit from a complimentary hearing evaluation, experience simulated hearing environments, and receive guidance from licensed Hearing Care Professionals (HCPs).
Despite the advanced healthcare system in the United States, a significant portion of the population remains untreated for hearing loss, with estimates ranging from 20% to 30%. One of the primary reasons for this treatment gap is the limited access to hearing care services. With millions of Americans in need of affordable and convenient hearing care, HearUSA aims to bridge this gap with their Centers of the Future initiative.
“A major reason for this situation is a lack of access to hearing care. An estimated 48 million Americans are living with some form of hearing loss and many are in need of convenient, affordable hearing care in their communities.”
–Nick Mengerink, President of HearUSA
The new Centers of the Future are designed to be client-centric, offering an inviting and modern environment. They feature open spaces, product displays, a welcome hub, a solutions wall, and professional consultation rooms. The HearUSA Hearing Care Professionals are at the core of the experience, guiding clients in understanding innovative hearing aids and their capabilities, including wireless connectivity to devices like smartphones and tablets.
The company’s Hear Better Today program “ensures that clients can receive and start using hearing aids on the same day as their evaluation, eliminating unnecessary wait times. HearUSA’s expertise in insurance maximizes client benefits, while flexible financing options provide increased affordability. To further enhance the client experience, HearUSA offers a no-risk trial program.”
Dan Troast, HearUSA Audiologist and Chair of the HearUSA HCP Advisory Board, noted, “With the opening of these two new Hearing Centers of the Future, we are equipped with a complete portfolio of the world’s best diagnostic tools, hearing aid solutions, and financing options for all Houston-area residents, across all levels of hearing loss and budget.”
The new centers in Texas are located at 24230 Kuykendahl Road in Tomball and 6715 FM 1960 E in Atascocita.
