The 68th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians is scheduled to be held in Hanover from 16 to 18 October 2024, according to an announcement made on Thursday. The Congress and the international Industry Exhibition will offer opportunities for networking and discovering new product highlights at the world’s largest industry meeting for hearing aid acousticians and professionals in the hearing systems industry and related services.

Booking Starts for Exhibitors at the Industry Exhibition

Exhibitors can now book their exhibition space and additional space in the booking portal for the Industry Exhibition organized by the BVHI, the German Hearing Instruments Industry Association. To secure their place, exhibitors should book their stand space by the end of April as the planning of the hall layout is set to start in early May. The deadline for registering for stand space is 19 June.

Dr. Stefan Zimmer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BVHI, stated that 130 exhibitors from seventeen countries took part in the international Industry Exhibition in 2023.

“In 2023, 130 exhibitors from seventeen countries took part in the international Industry Exhibition. Stand space in the exhibition halls was sold out before the end of the booking period. There is great interest in the trade fair among exhibitors and visitors alike. We expect further growth in 2024. In addition, we shall continue to constantly develop the event by introducing further innovations.”

Zimmer expects further growth in 2024 and said the event will continue to be developed through innovations.

Call for Papers

Experts have been invited to present the results of their latest research, findings and innovations to the large audience expected at the 2024 EUHA Congress. Beate Gromke, President of the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians, called for suggestions for current topics to be included in the conference programme. According to Gromke, the EUHA Congress provides food for thought, discussions and development, making it the driving force behind the industry.

Suggestions for the specialist lectures may be submitted online by 31 March 2024. Topics from categories such as research and science, practical application, marketing and communication, and public health politics and the future are appreciated.
