MILAN, ITALY — Amplifon has been named to TIME magazine’s World’s Best Companies of 2026 list, marking the fourth consecutive year the hearing care company has been included in the global ranking.
The annual list, developed by TIME in collaboration with Statista, evaluates companies across three primary areas: employee satisfaction, economic performance, and transparency around sustainability. The 2026 ranking includes 1,000 companies from around the world.
Fourth Consecutive Year on TIME Ranking
The recognition adds to several workplace and sustainability distinctions Amplifon has received during 2026. Earlier this year, the company was named a Global Top Employer, with certifications spanning Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
Amplifon has also been included in Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Trust ranking and TIME and Statista’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies list.
The Milan-based company reports annual revenues of more than €2.4 billion and operates a network of approximately 10,000 hearing care clinics, with nearly 20,000 employees across five continents.
Recognition Comes During a Significant Year for Amplifon
The TIME recognition comes during a significant year for Amplifon as the company works toward its proposed acquisition of GN Hearing. Announced in March, the transaction values GN Hearing at DKK 17 billion, or approximately $2.5 billion, and would combine Amplifon’s global hearing care retail network with GN Hearing’s hearing technology, research and development, manufacturing operations, and product portfolio.
In June, Amplifon secured a €1.35 billion senior loan to support financing of the proposed acquisition. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, customary closing conditions, and completion of the separation of GN Hearing from GN Group.
More recently, Amplifon reported its strongest quarterly organic growth in two years during the second quarter of 2026, while reaffirming its full-year outlook and continuing preparations for the proposed GN Hearing integration.
