HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK — Widex USA Inc. today announced that its Widex Moment hearing aids have been recognized as a winner in the first-ever HearAdvisor Expert Choice Awards. Widex Moment™ was one of only 11 winners out of 46 evaluated hearing devices.
The award-winning hearing aid was selected for having the fastest sound processing available in a digital hearing aid, eliminating artificial sound while making it easier for wearers to discern speech and detect and place sounds around them.

Widex Moment hearing aids utilize advanced PureSound™ technology to deliver a pure, natural sound experience, enabling wearers to better connect with the world around them. By converting analog sound waves into digital signals, the hearing aids process and re-convert the sound, typically taking a few milliseconds. However, this processing delay can affect sound quality, leading to a comb filter effect.
Widex’s PureSound with ZeroDelay™ significantly reduces the processing delay to below 0.5 milliseconds, resulting in clearer, more natural sound.
Widex Moment hearing aid family
Widex Moment hearing aids are compatible with both iPhone and Android devices, allowing wearers to directly stream music, calls, podcasts, and other content without the need for a separate accessory. The accompanying Widex Moment app grants wearers control over various features, including personalized sound settings, relaxing fractal tones with SoundRelax, and helpful tips through My Guide. Users can also adjust bass, middle, treble, and compression levels for a customized experience.
The HearAdvisor Expert Choice Awards, hosted by HearAdvisor.com, is a program recognizing hearing aid manufacturers for their life-changing products. The awards are based on rigorous testing in the HearAdvisor lab, adhering to industry-accepted standards to honor the best products in the industry.
