TAMPA, FLORIDA — HearUSA has announced the nationwide availability of the Signia Active Mini IX across its network of hearing care centers, expanding the retailer’s selection of discreet, ready-to-wear hearing aids.
The device, which Signia introduced in May 2026, combines an instant-fit in-the-ear design with the company’s Integrated Xperience platform, rechargeable battery technology, and wireless connectivity.
A Ready-to-Wear In-the-Ear Option
The Active Mini IX is designed to offer an alternative for patients who prefer an in-the-ear form factor but do not want to wait for custom earmolds. Because the device is ready to wear, many clients may be evaluated and fit during the same appointment.
Signia describes the Active Mini IX as the world’s smallest ready-to-wear in-the-ear hearing aid with connectivity. The compact device uses two microphones to support directional processing and the speech-enhancement features available through the company’s IX platform.

Designed for Changing Conversations
The Active Mini IX is intended to help wearers follow conversations in challenging or unfamiliar listening environments, including crowded restaurants, family gatherings, and other social settings.
Its two-microphone directional system supports Signia’s RealTime Conversation Enhancement technology, which is designed to track and enhance multiple speakers as a conversation shifts. The processing approach is intended to help wearers remain engaged when speakers move or when several people are participating.
The device also includes a rechargeable battery providing up to 21 hours of use on a single charge. Bluetooth connectivity supports streaming of phone calls, music, and other media from compatible iPhone and Android devices.
Signia Assistant, an AI-powered feature available through the Signia app, allows wearers to make personalized adjustments to their hearing settings between appointments.
