LONDON, UK — TinniSoothe is expanding its partnership with Boots Hearingcare, bringing its wearable tinnitus sound therapy device into select Boots World of Hearing stores across the UK.
The move expands on a partnership launched in 2025, when TinniSoothe became available through the Boots Hearingcare online store. Beginning this month, customers will also be able to explore the device in person and discuss its use with Boots Hearingcare audiology teams at World of Hearing locations.
TinniSoothe is a wearable sound therapy device designed to support tinnitus distraction and habituation. The device can be worn around the neck or clipped to clothing during the day and placed in a bedside charging dock at night, providing configurable background sound without requiring a device to be worn in or around the ears.
“When we announced our partnership with Boots Hearingcare last year, our shared ambition was to make TinniSoothe accessible to many more people living with tinnitus. Moving into World of Hearing is a really exciting next step, as the stores provide a more immersive experience for Boots customers.”

Expanding Access to Tinnitus Management Options
The in-store rollout gives customers an opportunity to see TinniSoothe in person and learn how it works as part of a broader discussion about tinnitus and hearing health.
“Being able to see TinniSoothe in person, understand how it works and discuss it with a hearing care professional, will make the experience more tangible for customers,” commented Howard Presland, inventor of TinniSoothe and founder of the company. “World of Hearing is an ideal environment in which to introduce TinniSoothe initially, and we’re looking forward to a successful rollout.”
Boots Hearingcare said the addition expands the range of tinnitus management options available through its stores, alongside hearing aids and SilentCloud, its medical app.
“Tinnitus can have a significant impact on everyday lives, and there is no single solution that works for everyone. Alongside our existing hearing aid range and SilentCloud, our medical app, TinniSoothe provides another option to support people in managing their tinnitus, and improve their lives through better hearing.”
— Karen Shepherd, Director of Hearing Health Care Development at Boots Hearingcare
TinniSoothe is a UKCA- and CE-marked Class I medical device intended to support tinnitus distraction and habituation. The company emphasizes that the device is intended as a tinnitus management tool and is not a cure for tinnitus.
The device was recognized as a 2025 Hearing Technology Innovator Award winner and has also been evaluated in clinical studies by the Combat Stress Centre for Applied Military Health Research.
TinniSoothe is manufactured in Britain and is available through Boots Hearingcare World of Hearing stores as well as other participating stockists.
