LYNGE, DENMARK – Widex, part of WSA, has announced the expansion of its Allure AI RIC hearing aids with Clarity Boost into 15 additional countries, including the United States and major European markets. The expansion brings the company’s dual-processor hearing technology, which combines natural sound processing with user-activated AI noise reduction, to a broader international audience.
Alongside the market expansion, Widex is reintroducing its established Zen Therapy tinnitus management tools through an update to Widex Compass Cloud, providing hearing care professionals with additional options for supporting patients experiencing tinnitus.
Originally introduced in May 2026, the Allure AI RIC builds on Widex’s existing Allure platform by incorporating a dedicated AI co-processor alongside the W1 chip. The additional processing supports Clarity Boost, a listening program designed to provide stronger noise management when users encounter challenging environments.
Natural Sound with On-Demand AI Processing
Widex has positioned Allure AI RIC around a different approach to artificial intelligence than hearing aids that apply advanced AI processing continuously. Instead, the system maintains the company’s emphasis on natural sound during everyday listening while allowing wearers to activate additional processing when needed.
The W1 chip and Precision Hearing Technology provide the foundation for everyday listening, balancing speech clarity with awareness of surrounding sounds. When users encounter more difficult listening conditions, such as restaurants or group conversations, Clarity Boost activates a dedicated AI co-processor that uses an audio-specific neural network to reduce competing noise while preserving sound quality.
The approach allows wearers to decide when additional AI processing is beneficial, rather than relying exclusively on automatic environmental adjustments. Clarity Boost can be activated through the hearing aid controls or the Widex Allure app.
The dual-chip architecture also works alongside Widex’s PureSound and ZeroDelay processing, which are designed to preserve sound quality while minimizing processing delays. Together, these technologies aim to balance natural sound reproduction, speech clarity, and listening comfort across a variety of environments, including music listening and challenging conversations.
“The reception to Allure AI RIC has been exceptional. Hearing care professionals have responded enthusiastically to our approach, and strong demand has reinforced the opportunity to bring it to more markets,” said Ngozi Amobi, Head of Widex. “Natural sound is at the heart of the Widex experience. Clarity Boost builds on that foundation, putting added AI support in the wearer’s hands when they want it. We’re excited for more hearing care professionals and their patients to experience the value of that approach firsthand.”
Widex Reports Improved Speech Understanding and Listener Preference
As part of the expanded launch, Widex highlighted comparative research examining Allure AI RIC with Clarity Boost against two premium hearing aids incorporating AI-based denoising.
According to company-cited research by Bianchi and colleagues, five times as many participants preferred Allure AI RIC with Clarity Boost over the competing devices in evaluated real-world listening situations.
Widex also reports that Clarity Boost delivered up to 20% better speech understanding and up to 13% less listening effort compared with the competing hearing aids during a conversation involving two alternating talkers.

These findings suggest potential benefits from the company’s approach to combining natural sound processing with targeted AI-based noise management. However, the reported advantages reflect the specific devices, listening conditions, and outcome measures used in the manufacturer-cited research, and may not represent the experience of every hearing aid wearer.
Zen Therapy Returns Through Widex Compass Cloud
In addition to expanding Allure AI RIC availability, Widex is introducing integrated Zen Therapy support through the latest release of its Compass Cloud fitting software.
Zen Therapy has been part of Widex’s tinnitus management approach for many years, combining sound-based strategies with counseling and other individualized support. The new integration makes Zen listening programs available within Compass Cloud for clinicians fitting Widex Allure hearing aids.
The update also brings together support through the Widex Allure app and online counseling resources, with the goal of helping hearing care professionals personalize tinnitus management and making it easier for patients to incorporate these tools into everyday life.

For clinicians already using Compass Cloud, the addition expands the platform’s capabilities beyond hearing aid fitting and sound personalization to include structured tinnitus support.
“Widex has long been a leader in tinnitus management, and Zen Therapy has been one of the most sought-after additions to Compass Cloud,” concluded Amobi. “Our HCP partners know the value of Zen and have been eager to bring it to their Allure patients. With Zen now integrated into Compass Cloud and Allure AI RIC reaching more markets, we’re giving more hearing care professionals the tools to deliver what sets Widex apart – natural sound, AI support when wearers want it, and personalized tinnitus care.”
Widex says additional Zen features are planned for upcoming Compass Cloud releases, with further fitting flexibility and personalization capabilities expected.
U.S. Availability Beginning October 2026
Widex Allure AI RIC with Clarity Boost is being introduced into 15 additional markets, including the United States and major European countries, beginning in October 2026.
According to Widex, hearing care professionals in the U.S. should contact their local Widex sales representative for specific availability dates.
The expansion marks the next stage in the company’s rollout of its dual-processor hearing aid technology, bringing together its established natural sound approach, optional AI-based noise management, and expanded tinnitus support within the Compass Cloud fitting ecosystem.
