CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA — The Hearing Matters Podcast announced the launch of its new Thought Leader Coalition, bringing together three established figures in hearing healthcare: Dr. Gyl Kasewurm, Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz, and Madison Levine, B.C.-HIS. The initiative is designed to expand the podcast’s role as a resource for clinical education, patient engagement, and hearing-health innovation.
The coalition will produce structured, high-impact content aimed at supporting clinical excellence and modern practice development. Each quarter, panel members will release a feature article accompanied by a companion podcast episode, providing practical insights and real-world applications for both professionals and consumers. The goal is to deliver timely and credible guidance that reflects the rapid evolution of hearing healthcare.
Madison Levine, B.C.-HIS, is a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, practice owner, and TEDx speaker recognized for work on auditory-cognitive health. Her TEDx presentation, “The Ear-Brain Connection,” has contributed to broader discussions on the relationship between hearing and long-term brain wellness.
Dr. Gyl Kasewurm brings more than four decades of experience in private practice and has been active with the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Her background spans business leadership, patient experience, and community-focused initiatives that have influenced hearing practices worldwide.
Dr. Jasen A. Ruiz, founder of Advanced Audiology of NY, is known for diagnostic and vestibular expertise, as well as scalable practice operations. His work focuses on organizational growth, operational efficiency, and systems that support improved patient outcomes and long-term sustainability.
