SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon, Inc. has expanded its portfolio of hearing solutions available on the Veterans Administration contract with the introduction of three new products: Oticon Zeal™, Oticon Intent™ miniBTE R, and Oticon Verit™ miniRITE T with zinc-air batteries.

The additions are intended to give Government Services audiologists more options to meet the needs and preferences of Veterans, U.S. military personnel, and Indian Health patients.

Oticon Zeal introduces a new in-the-ear category designed to combine discreetness with advanced functionality, including connectivity, personalized audio streaming, rechargeability, and Oticon’s BrainHearing™ technology. Oticon Intent miniBTE R brings the sound quality and connectivity of the Oticon Intent miniRITE R platform into a compact behind-the-ear style, while Oticon Verit miniRITE T offers a premium zinc-air battery option with modern connectivity and audiological performance.

“We will continue to introduce game-changing solutions, like the three newest additions to the Oticon portfolio, and to provide the support and services that enable our Government Services partners to provide the best care for their patients.”

“Oticon is committed to becoming the best partner for Government Services audiologists,” said Mike Marcinek, Vice President, General Manager, Oticon Government Services and Pediatrics.

“We will continue to introduce game-changing solutions, like the three newest additions to the Oticon portfolio, and to provide the support and services that enable our Government Services partners to provide the best care for their patients. Our approach is collaborative, working together to gain clinic efficiency with reliable products and time-saving fitting processes that deliver high patient satisfaction and success.”

Oticon Zeal Adds Discreet Rechargeable Option

Oticon Zeal is designed for patients who prefer discreet hearing aid styles but do not want to sacrifice advanced BrainHearing™ technology or second-generation AI sound processing. The device combines discreetness with audiological performance, modern connectivity, and rechargeability.

According to the company, Oticon Zeal supports improved speech clarity in noisy environments and provides always-on, AI-driven performance. The hearing aid also uses encapsulation technology that encloses the device body to support durability and reliability. Dome and mold options provide additional fitting flexibility for a range of hearing needs.

Oticon Intent miniBTE R Expands Intent Family

The new Oticon Intent miniBTE R joins the Oticon Intent miniRITE R, which remains Oticon’s smallest and most discreet rechargeable miniRITE hearing aid.

Both Oticon Intent styles feature 4D Sensor-driven technology, which uses head and body movements, environmental information, and surrounding conversation to recognize when a user’s listening needs change and adapt accordingly.

Oticon Intent miniBTE R includes two fitting levels, 85 and 105, which can be assigned directly in Oticon Genie 2. The design gives audiologists flexibility to fit a broader range of patients with one device and adapt fittings as hearing needs change.

Oticon Verit Offers Zinc-Air Battery Option

Oticon Verit miniRITE T is designed for patients who prefer the convenience of non-rechargeable zinc-air batteries. The hearing aid provides access to Oticon’s BrainHearing technology, including second-generation Deep Neural Network processing, Wind & Handling Stabilizer, and SuddenSound Stabilizer.

Oticon Verit also supports Bluetooth® LE Audio for direct streaming, sound quality, battery efficiency, and hands-free calling.1
